This absinthe spoon is usually referred to as the arrow spoon because of the small arrow cutouts in its grille. It is very similar to the #10 spoon. The major difference being that this spoon has a flatter surface opposed to the slight rise in on the sides of the #10 spoon. This spoon is used in the preparation of a traditional French or Swiss absinthe.
